Childcare Apprenticeship – Level 3 Early Years Educator

About the role

This apprenticeship is ideal for someone with some prior knowledge and experience within a nursery or school setting, and especially someone passionate in childcare and early years, looking to further their career. Duties include providing excellent activities that ensure children learn while having fun, supporting children's learning and development, preparing and maintaining the environment and resources, preparing food, supporting children's self-help needs, being creative and enthusiastic, following safeguarding rules, and undertaking first aid and other relevant training. The employer is Glowing Stars Day Nursery Limited, described as a whimsical world where love and care blossom. Upon completion, you will develop into a Level 3 practitioner with the potential for a permanent position and further career progression into roles like social work, teaching, or management.

Entry requirements

• GCSE English and Maths at grade 4, and a Pass in Early Years Practitioner/Childcare. Essential skills include communication, organisation, problem-solving, logical thinking, teamwork, creativity, initiative, being non-judgemental, and patience. A Level 2 in Childcare is also required.
