About the role
This Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship is designed for individuals with some prior experience in a nursery or school setting who are passionate about childcare and early years education and wish to advance their career. The role involves providing engaging activities for children, supporting their learning and development through planning and observations, and preparing and maintaining the learning environment. Responsibilities also include preparing food for meals and snacks, supporting children's self-help needs, and adhering to safeguarding, health, and hygiene standards. The apprenticeship includes undertaking First Aid training and any other required legal training. Upon completion, apprentices will gain a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification, with all training delivered remotely via teams, supported by a dedicated tutor. There is potential for career progression to an advanced diploma or further apprenticeship. Entry requirements
- GCSE English at grade 4 and GCSE Maths at grade 4. Strong communication, attention to detail, organisation, problem-solving, creativity, initiative, non-judgemental attitude, and patience are also essential.
