About the role

Start building a career in IT infrastructure, networking and cloud technologies! This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience, work alongside experienced engineers, earn industry-recognised qualifications and build the skills needed for a long-term career in systems engineering, cloud computing and network operations.

Key duties include assisting with the development, testing and deployment of new IT and network solutions, supporting the Network Operations Centre (NOC) with technical troubleshooting, and working with Microsoft technologies like Microsoft 365 and Azure. You will gain exposure to networking technologies from vendors such as Ubiquiti, Cisco/Meraki, Nokia and Fortinet, and assist with technical investigations and root cause analysis. Maintaining documentation, contributing to the internal knowledge base, producing reports, and working on technical projects are also part of the role. This apprenticeship offers a structured path to a career in IT with a strong focus on practical experience and recognized qualifications.

Entry requirements

  • GCSEs in Maths & English (Grade 3+ or D and above) and 3 other subjects (Grade 4+ or A*-C). Strong communication, IT, problem-solving, and teamwork skills, with attention to detail.
