Are you passionate about technology and eager to start a career in cyber security? Specialist Network Operations (SNO) is looking for an ambitious Cyber Security Engineer Apprentice to join their growing team in Oswestry. This apprenticeship offers hands-on experience, industry-recognised qualifications, and the chance to build skills in cyber security, cloud technologies, and IT infrastructure. You will work alongside experienced professionals to protect systems and data from cyber threats, gaining practical experience in monitoring and maintaining IT security systems, identifying vulnerabilities, assisting with incident response, and promoting best practices. SNO is a trusted provider of network operations, managed IT services, cloud solutions, and cyber security services, with a growing international presence. The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in IT and cyber security, strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. A full, clean driver's license and access to a vehicle are desirable. Basic understanding of networking or operating systems is beneficial but not essential as training will be provided.

Entry requirements

  • A-Level in ICT OR International Baccalaureate Level 3 in ICT OR Level 3 apprenticeship in a similar subject OR BTEC Extended Diploma in IT (180 credits). International equivalents considered with official comparison documentation.
