About the role

Winward Engineering Limited is seeking an Apprentice General Hand / Manufacturing Operative to join their team in the West Midlands. This Level 2 apprenticeship offers hands-on training in various manufacturing processes, including operating presses, CNC machines, guillotining, drilling, deburring, and quality inspection. The apprentice will work with experienced team members to ensure components meet quality standards and are delivered on time. Key responsibilities include following work instructions, operating machinery safely, inspecting components, handling materials, and maintaining a clean work area. Strong communication, attention to detail, and a positive attitude towards learning are essential.
