About the role
This apprenticeship offers a hands-on opportunity to become a Service Technician/Mechanic at Volvo Cars Guildford, part of Bells Motor Group. You will be involved in all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair, from routine servicing to complex diagnostics. Daily tasks include using diagnostic equipment, testing parts and systems, carrying out inspections, and maintaining electronic systems. The role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, enthusiasm, and a passion for vehicle engineering. You will gain experience with a variety of vehicles, including traditional, hybrid, and electric engines. Upon completion, there are opportunities for career progression to team leader and management roles.
