This apprenticeship is ideal for enthusiastic and ambitious individuals looking to gain a recognized qualification while gaining practical experience in a nurturing childcare setting. You will be responsible for creating meaningful relationships with children, the team, and parents, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment that meets every child's wellbeing needs. Key duties include safeguarding children, observing and supporting learning activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), assessing and recording children's progress, and catering to individual needs, including those with disabilities or specific medical histories. The role also involves maintaining high standards within the nursery and supporting with meal times, ensuring dietary requirements are met. Upon completion, there may be opportunities to progress to higher-level qualifications and roles within the early years sector.

Entry requirements

• GCSE English Language and Maths at grade 4 or above are desired. Strong communication, teamwork, initiative, patience, and creative skills are essential.
