About the role
This Level 3 Apprenticeship in Early Years Education is designed for individuals with existing experience in a nursery or school setting who are passionate about childcare and wish to advance their careers. The role involves providing engaging activities to support children's learning and development, preparing the environment and resources, assisting with food preparation, and ensuring adherence to safeguarding and health and hygiene standards. The apprenticeship includes undertaking first aid training and staying updated with any changes in standards or legal requirements. Upon successful completion, apprentices will be qualified as Level 3 practitioners, with potential for permanent employment and opportunities to progress into roles such as social work, teaching, or management.
Entry requirements
- GCSE Maths and English (Grade 4/C L2) or equivalent. Essential skills include communication, IT, problem-solving, logical thinking, teamwork, creativity, initiative, patience, and physical fitness.
