About the role
BROUGHTON (SEVENOAKS) LTD is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Apprentice to join their team at Broughton Cottage. This role is ideal for someone looking to develop a career in early years education, working with babies and young children. The apprenticeship will involve supporting daily activities within the nursery, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. The apprentice will work closely with lead educators to promote child development and well-being. Responsibilities include supervising children during playtime, communicating with children and parents, supporting daily routines, maintaining a clean environment, collaborating with colleagues, managing behaviour, and writing observations for children's learning journeys. The role offers opportunities for career progression within the nursery and group. The nursery is graded Outstanding by Ofsted and is part of the Toots Nursery group. Training will be provided for the Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship standard, including a Level 3 Diploma and Paediatric First Aid. Functional Skills in maths and English may also be included. This is a full-time position with set working hours.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English Language (grade 4 or above) and GCSE Mathematics (grade 4 or above). Key attributes include attention to detail, caring nature, strong communication skills, creativity, initiative, logical thinking, being non-judgemental, patience, and good teamwork.
