About the role
This apprenticeship is ideal for someone with some prior knowledge and experience within a nursery or school setting, and especially someone passionate about childcare and early years, looking to further their career.
Duties include providing an excellent range of activities that ensures children learn while having fun, supporting children's learning and development, preparing and maintaining the environment and resources, preparing food for meals, and supporting children's self-help needs. You will be expected to be creative, enthusiastic, and follow safeguarding rules. The role also involves undertaking first aid and any other required training to meet changing standards or legal requirements, and ensuring all health and hygiene requirements are adhered to.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C or Functional Skills Level 2. Strong communication, IT, attention to detail, organisation, logical thinking, teamwork, creativity, initiative, and patience are essential.
