About the role
Join Caterpillar Day Nursery as a Full-Time Early Years Apprentice. Gain valuable experience supporting children's learning and development while working towards a recognised qualification in a nurturing and supportive nursery environment.
Duties include supporting children's learning through play, assisting with activity planning, creating a safe and stimulating environment, supporting daily routines, building positive relationships, observing and recording progress, promoting safeguarding, and assisting with indoor and outdoor learning experiences. The role involves developing knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and working towards a recognised Early Years qualification.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at grade C/4 or above, and a Level 2 Early Years qualification (Pass). Essential skills include communication, attention to detail, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, presentation, administration, logic, teamwork, creativity, initiative, being non-judgemental, patience, and physical fitness.
