About the role
The Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprentice will work as part of the early years team at Busy Bees in Sheffield to provide high-quality care, learning, and development opportunities for babies and young children. This role involves supporting the planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities, building nurturing relationships with children, observing and assessing their progress, and encouraging independence and confidence. The apprentice will also support children's transitions, promote early literacy and numeracy, and foster their problem-solving and critical thinking skills. The apprenticeship includes on-site training and 6 hours per week of off-the-job training at Barnsley College or the workplace. Upon completion, students will gain an Advanced Technical Certificate as an Early Years Educator Level 3, with potential for Functional Skills in maths and English if required. A DBS check is required for this position.
