About the role
Strong Close Nursery School is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Caretaker / Premises Apprentice to play a key role in maintaining a welcoming, safe, and secure environment for the school. The apprentice will assist in the provision of maintenance and security services, including porterage duties, managing deliveries, and supporting the caretaker with daily tasks. Training will be provided in areas such as carpentry, basic plumbing, electrical work, wall repairs, decorating, and garden maintenance, all while adhering to health and safety regulations. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain practical experience and develop a career in premises management within an Ofsted Outstanding inclusive school.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at C/4 or equivalent. Communication skills, Attention to detail, Organisation skills, Administrative skills, Team working.
