About the role
VQ Solutions is seeking an enthusiastic IT Support Desk Engineer Apprentice to join the growing team at Touch Telecom. This role offers hands-on experience and the opportunity to work towards a recognised IT apprenticeship. You will develop skills in IT support, Microsoft 365, networking, cloud services, cybersecurity, and infrastructure management. Key responsibilities include providing first-line IT support, diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware and software issues, installing and configuring IT equipment, supporting VoIP systems, and managing networking equipment. You will also assist with cloud solutions deployment, cybersecurity practices, documentation, and Microsoft 365 administration. The role requires strong communication, IT, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. A good attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
Entry requirements
- GCSE Maths and English at Minimum Grade C/4, strong communication, IT, and problem-solving skills.
