About the role

Ruislip Stars Nurseries is seeking an Early Years Apprentice to study towards their Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship. This role involves working directly with children, planning and delivering activities, supporting school collections, adhering to safeguarding policies, and observing and monitoring children's development. The apprentice will also be responsible for risk assessments for outings and cooking activities, attending parent review meetings as a key worker, preparing children's records, undertaking domestic duties such as snack preparation, recording accidents/incidents, promoting a healthy lifestyle, maintaining a stimulating and safe environment, and ensuring registers are up to date. The position requires teamwork, participation in out-of-hours activities, and contributing to a positive team ethos. Personal and professional development includes completing mandatory training, maintaining a CPD log, liaising with parents and professionals, supporting children with special needs, and ensuring children are collected by authorized individuals.
