About the role
This apprenticeship involves providing information to customers to help them select the correct equipment, ensuring health and safety information is provided, and arranging transportation. You will communicate with customers via email and phone, complete contract documentation, and ensure equipment is safe. Responsibilities include processing payments, handling technical inquiries and complaints, and keeping up to date with stock control and maintenance schedules. You will also assist drivers with loading/unloading. This role offers a foundation for a successful career in the hire industry, with potential progression to Hire Controller, Hire Desk Manager, and Branch Manager. Further training opportunities include higher-level apprenticeships and specialized courses.
