About the role

Serbus Health Ltd is seeking an IT Apprentice to support organizations within the UK's critical national infrastructure. The apprentice will be responsible for liaising with customers via various communication channels to assist with 1st line IT issues, resolving system access, password resets, and hardware troubleshooting. Key duties include performing basic IT system administration tasks, completing ticket requests diligently, triaging issues, and teaching users self-service tools. A strong focus on customer service, empathy, and patience is essential, along with adhering to strict SLAs. The role requires basic general fault diagnosis, knowledge of ITIL, excellent communication, and a proactive, team-oriented attitude. The apprentice will work onsite at the customer base in Swandean Monday to Friday, 9 am - 5.30 pm. Entry requirements include 3 GCSEs at grades 4+ and GCSE Maths and English at grades 3+.

Entry requirements

  • 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject, GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above). Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level.
