About the role
Harrowgate Primary Academy is seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and motivated Early Years Apprentice to join their dedicated Early Years team. This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to start a career in early years education, supporting children aged 2-5 within the academy's provision. The role involves helping to create a stimulating and nurturing learning environment, supporting children's development through play and adult-led activities, and assisting with personal care. The apprentice will work closely with teachers and practitioners, observe and record children's progress, and develop professional skills through practical experience and formal training. The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in working with young children, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be reliable, organised, and committed to supporting child wellbeing. Upon completion of the Level 3 qualification, there may be an opportunity for ongoing employment and further progression. A DBS check and two work references will be required.
