About the role
BEP Surface Technologies is seeking an enthusiastic Engineering Operative Apprentice to join their team in Radcliffe. This apprenticeship offers hands-on experience in metal finishing and surface engineering, covering component preparation, processing, finishing, and inspection. You will learn various techniques under supervision, including electroplating and surface finishing, while ensuring safe working practices. Key duties involve assisting with metal finishing activities, handling components, using hand tools and measuring equipment, conducting basic measurements and quality checks, reading job instructions, maintaining a clean work area, and following health, safety, and quality procedures. The role emphasizes teamwork to meet production goals. Full training and development are provided, with responsibilities increasing as skills grow.
