Childcare Apprenticeship – Level 3 Early Years Educator

About the role

This apprenticeship is ideal for someone with some prior knowledge and experience within a nursery or school setting and especially someone passionate in childcare and early years, looking to further their career. You will be responsible for providing an excellent range of activities that ensures that the child learns whilst having fun, supporting children’s learning and development, including supporting planning and observations. You will also be involved in preparing and maintaining the environment and resources for the children, preparing food for breakfast, snack and afternoon tea, and supporting children’s self-help needs. The role requires creativity, enthusiasm, adherence to safeguarding rules, and undertaking first aid and other appropriate training. Upon completion, you will develop into a Level 3 practitioner, with the potential of a permanent position and further career progression into roles such as social work, teaching, or management.

Entry requirements

• GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above. Good communication, attention to detail, organisation, problem-solving skills, logical thinking, team working abilities, creativity, initiative, and patience.
