About the role
The RAC is seeking an enthusiastic Apprentice Mobile Mechanic to join their team in Abingdon. This apprenticeship offers hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and repair, working alongside experienced technicians. You will develop essential mechanical, problem-solving, and customer service skills. Duties include assisting with inspections, diagnoses, and repairs, using various tools and equipment, interpreting technical manuals, performing routine maintenance, and supporting equipment repairs. You will also maintain a clean workspace, uphold safety standards, provide excellent customer service, assist with heavy lifting, and contribute to the upkeep of service units. The RAC is a well-established motoring organisation with a long history of supporting drivers. This role provides an opportunity to progress into a permanent position as a qualified Mobile Mechanic upon successful completion.
