Early Years Educator Apprenticeship

About the role

Join Tom Thumb Nursery as an Early Years Educator Apprentice and work towards an Advanced Diploma in Early Years. This role involves creating a fun, engaging, and safe environment for children aged 0-5, teaching within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements, and participating in a range of indoor and outdoor activities. You will support children with self-care needs, communicate with team members and parents, and provide excellent service to external customers. The apprenticeship requires dedication, commitment, and punctuality. You will attend online training for the first 8 weeks and work in the nursery with dedicated assessor support throughout the 14-month program. Upon successful completion, there are opportunities for career progression to Level 3 practitioner, room leader positions, management training, or even a springboard into primary education or paediatric nursing. Entry requirements

• GCSE Maths & English C/4 or above, or Functional Skills Maths & English Level 2 Pass. Organisation skills, customer care skills, problem-solving skills, team working, creativity, initiative, non-judgemental attitude, and patience are also required.
