Early Years Apprentice

About the role

This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to become an Early Years Educator at Elmscot Day Nursery. You will gain a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education, along with a Paediatric First Aid certificate. The role involves caring for young children, supporting their learning and development through engaging activities, and working closely with parents. You will observe children in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage, ensuring high-quality learning experiences. As an apprentice, you'll receive regular training and have an in-house mentor for support throughout your course. Elmscot Group has a strong team of professionals dedicated to the healthy development and safety of young children. Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, there is potential for a practitioner position within the nursery, with opportunities for career progression within the company.

Entry requirements

• GCSE English and Mathematics at Grade 4 or above are desired. Strong communication, attention to detail, organizational skills, customer care, problem-solving, logical thinking, teamwork, creativity, initiative, and patience are essential.
