Early Years Educator Apprenticeship

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to become an Early Years Educator apprentice at Little Treasures Nursery and Pre-School in Grays. You will be working with children aged 0-5, supporting their development and learning through engaging activities. This apprenticeship leads to an Advanced Diploma in Early Years and requires dedication, commitment, and punctuality. Duties include supporting childcare provision, ensuring children learn while having fun, meeting Ofsted requirements, being a team player, and providing stimulating activities. You will also be responsible for safeguarding, equal opportunities, and communicating effectively with colleagues and parents. The role involves a mix of online training and hands-on experience within the nursery setting. Upon successful completion, there are opportunities for career progression to Room Leader or even further training in primary education or paediatric nursing.

Entry requirements

• GCSE Maths & English at grade C/4 or above, or Functional Skills Maths & English Level 2. Strong communication, IT, attention to detail, and organizational skills are essential.
