About the role
KMK KINDERZIMMER 3 BERKHAMSTED LIMITED is offering an exciting opportunity to join their growing team as a Nursery Educator Apprentice. This role, based in Berkhamsted (HP4 1AD), involves contributing to excellence in childcare and education. The apprenticeship is at Level 3, signifying an advanced level of training. The position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, with working hours between 7.30 am and 6.30 pm on a rota basis. Successful candidates will play a significant role in ensuring the best possible education and childcare, working collaboratively with colleagues and parents. Duties include contributing to planned activities, maintaining children's achievement files, supporting children with special needs, adhering to nursery policies, and promoting safeguarding. The role also involves attending out-of-hours activities, being flexible, and supporting inspections. Benefits include 23 days of holiday plus 8 bank holidays, with nursery closure during Christmas week, and a Wellness Day. Opportunities for career progression within the group are available. The apprenticeship training is provided by REALISE LEARNING AND EMPLOYMENT LIMITED and includes working towards the Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship standard, a Level 3 Diploma, a Paediatric First Aid qualification, and potentially Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English.
Entry requirements
- GCSE Maths and English Language at grade 4 or above. Desired skills include communication, creativity, patience, and team working.
