About the role
This apprenticeship offers a Level 4 Business Analyst role within TfL's Business & Digital (B&D) Engineering team. The 18-month program involves 3 to 5 placements (3-6 months each), focusing on core Business Analyst skills in Engineering, including requirement elicitation, documentation, modelling, simulation, research, and process writing. Apprentices will also gain insight into digital engineering, digital twins, and asset condition management. Placements outside the B&D team will provide exposure to various TfL Engineering projects, such as asset upgrades and maintenance initiatives. Upon completion, graduates will be equipped for roles within TfL, particularly in the Business & Digital team or other engineering departments, with opportunities for career progression within the organization.
Entry requirements
- Minimum of 2 GCSEs at Grade A*-C or Grade 4 and above in Maths and English Language, plus 2 A-Levels in any subject at Grade A*-D. Equivalent qualifications are accepted. A strong interest in STEM subjects is desirable. Applicants must be 18 by 7th September 2026 and not hold or be working towards a qualification at the same or higher level in a related subject.
