About the role
Transport for London (TfL) is offering a Highways and Traffic apprenticeship at Level 3, a 42-month developmental program designed for individuals interested in the design, assurance, and technical advice for highway infrastructure. This role involves working with experienced engineers to prepare plans, designs, and documentation, adhering to industry standards, and contributing to the daily operation of TfL's road network. Apprentices will gain experience in various placements including Traffic Engineering, Highway Engineering, Civil Engineering, Digital Engineering, and Project Management. Upon completion, successful apprentices can progress to a Technician Engineer role and potentially senior engineering or leadership positions.
Entry requirements
- A minimum of 2 GCSE's Grade A* - C or Grade 5 and above including Maths and English. Must be 18 years of age by September 2026. Not eligible if already holding or working towards a qualification at the same or higher level in a related subject.
