About the role

Lotus Home Care is seeking caring and reliable individuals to join their team as a Level 3 Community Home Care Support Worker Apprentice. This full-time, paid role offers comprehensive training, leading to a recognized Level 3 qualification in Adult Care. Apprentices will learn to deliver high-quality, person-centred care, participate in care plan reviews, administer medication (after training), liaise with healthcare professionals, and support individuals with complex needs. The role involves travel between clients' homes (mileage reimbursed) and requires attendance at training sessions and off-job learning. Upon completion, apprentices will be prepared for senior roles like Lead Care Worker or Supervisor, with opportunities for further skill development within the business. Candidates must be able to drive and have access to a vehicle, be at least 18 years old, and pass a full DBS check.

  • GCSE Maths & English A*-C/9-4. Communication skills, Attention to detail, Organisation skills, Customer care skills, Problem solving skills, Logical, Team working, Initiative, Non judgemental, Patience, Compassionate, Ability to work independently. Must be able to drive and have access to a vehicle.
