About the role

Lotus Home Care is seeking compassionate and dependable individuals to join their team as a Level 2 Community Home Care Support Worker Apprentice. This full-time, paid position offers comprehensive training, leading to a recognized Level 2 qualification in Health & Social Care and the opportunity to build a fulfilling career in care. Apprentices will learn to provide high-quality, person-centred care, including assisting with medication, liaising with healthcare professionals, monitoring well-being, and supporting individuals with complex needs like dementia. The role also involves upholding safeguarding responsibilities, travel between client homes (with mileage reimbursement), and dedicated off-the-job learning for the apprenticeship. Candidates must be reliable, punctual, and possess strong communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills. A driver's license and access to a vehicle are essential. Due to insurance restrictions, applicants must be 18 or over, and a full DBS check will be required.
