About the role

Lotus Home Care is seeking caring and reliable individuals to join their team as a Level 2 Community Home Care Support Worker Apprentice. This full-time, paid position offers comprehensive training, leading to a recognized Level 2 qualification in Health & Social Care. Apprentices will learn to deliver high-quality, person-centred care, including medication assistance, liaising with professionals, monitoring well-being, and supporting individuals with complex needs. Key responsibilities also involve upholding safeguarding duties, traveling between clients' homes (with mileage reimbursement), and dedicating time to off-job learning for the apprenticeship. Entry requirements

  • Desired / GCSE / Maths & English / A*-C/9-4. Communication skills, Attention to detail, Organisation skills, Customer care skills, Problem solving skills, Logical, Team working, Initiative, Non judgemental, Patience, Compassionate, Ability to work independently. Candidates must be able to drive and have access to a vehicle. Must be over 18 for insurance purposes. Full DBS check required.
