About the role

Lotus Home Care is seeking dedicated and dependable individuals to join their team as Community Home Care Support Workers. This full-time, paid apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to gain a recognized Level 3 qualification in Adult Care while embarking on a rewarding career in the care sector. Responsibilities include delivering high-quality, person-centered care, contributing to care plan development, supporting new staff, and liaising with various stakeholders. Apprentices will also receive training on rota systems and medication administration where authorized. The role involves supporting individuals with diverse needs, including dementia and learning disabilities, and upholding safeguarding principles. Travel between clients' homes will be reimbursed. Upon completion, apprentices will be well-prepared for senior roles such as Lead Care Worker or Supervisor, with opportunities for further skill development within the company.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE Maths & English A*-C/9-4. Communication skills, Attention to detail, Organisation skills, Customer care skills, Problem solving skills, Logical thinking, Team working, Initiative, Non-judgemental attitude, Patience, Compassion, Ability to work independently. Candidates must be able to drive and have access to a vehicle. Candidates must be over 18 due to insurance purposes. A full DBS check will be required.
