About the role

Lotus Home Care is seeking compassionate and dependable individuals to join their team as a Level 2 Community Home Care Support Worker Apprentice. This full-time, paid position offers a comprehensive training program leading to a recognized Level 2 qualification in Health & Social Care. Apprentices will be trained to provide high-quality, person-centred care to clients in their own homes. Key duties include assisting with medication, liaising with healthcare professionals, maintaining accurate records, supporting individuals with complex needs, upholding safeguarding responsibilities, and traveling between client locations (mileage reimbursed). The role also involves attending training sessions and completing off-the-job learning. Ideal candidates should possess strong communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, and a non-judgmental, patient, and compassionate attitude. A commitment to teamwork and the ability to work independently are also essential.
