About the role
This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to become an Early Years Practitioner/Educator. You will gain hands-on experience working with children across different age ranges, eventually specializing in an age group you prefer. The role involves supporting children's development, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment, and adhering to setting policies. You will complete a Level 2 or 3 qualification, with comprehensive support including mentoring, dedicated study time during work hours, and assistance for home study. Duties include nappy changes, promoting safe sleep, creating a safe environment, maintaining resources, ensuring cleanliness, supporting safe eating, developing understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Development Matters, fostering strong interactions with children, teamwork, effective communication, observation, planning, assessment, and review using a family app, and creating inviting indoor and outdoor environments.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above are desired.
