About the role
Are you a passionate early years practitioner looking to continue to develop your career in a supportive nursery setting? Orchard Barns, Ardleigh have a great opportunity to train as an Early Years Educator Apprentice and gain your level 3 whilst supporting children's learning, play and development and building key relationships. As a Nursery Apprentice, you will work as part of a friendly and supportive team, playing an active role in children’s learning and development. Key responsibilities include acting as a key person for a group of children, supporting planning, observations, and assessments, ensuring the safeguarding, welfare, and wellbeing of all children at all times, creating a safe, stimulating, and engaging learning environment in line with the EYFS Statutory Framework, and building strong, positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues. In return for your commitment, Orchard Barns offers a £500 completion bonus, a £1000 loyalty bonus after 1 year, free uniform, lunch provided, discounted childcare, 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays), and access to CPD and training via Noodle Now. Most apprentices secure employment or continue further study after completing their training, with many remaining in permanent roles and progressing into higher-level positions.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above. Communication skills, Problem solving skills, Team working, Creative, Initiative, Patience.
