Apprentice Early Years Educator Level 3

About the role

Shining Stars Day Nursery is seeking several Apprentice Early Years Educators to join their busy nurseries in Halifax. This Level 3 apprenticeship involves working towards a childcare qualification, with training provided both on and off the job. Apprentices will be mentored by a training coordinator and receive college lecturer assistance. The role is full-time and involves working across nursery rooms for babies (0-2 years), toddlers (2-3 years), and preschool (3-5 years). The apprentice will learn essential knowledge, skills, and behaviors to become a qualified Early Years Professional, contributing to high-quality early learning and play services. Key responsibilities include adhering to legislation and EYFS requirements, building positive relationships with parents/carers, planning and providing child-led and adult-initiated experiences, and ensuring a caring and stimulating environment for children's development.

Entry requirements

• GCSE Maths and English grade 4/C or above/equivalent. Communication skills, Customer care skills, Team working, Initiative, Patience.
