About the role
Butterfield Preschool is seeking an enthusiastic apprentice to support the development of young children. The role involves assisting with daily nursery operations, ensuring compliance with Ofsted standards, and contributing to a safe and stimulating environment for children aged 2 and above. The apprentice will work closely with the Nursery Manager and Deputy, supporting children's emotional, intellectual, and physical needs. Key responsibilities include planning activities, maintaining accurate records, liaising with parents, and ensuring equal opportunities for all children. This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience and a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths (Grade A*-C/9-4) and a Level 2 Childcare qualification (Pass). Strong communication skills, attention to detail, patience, enthusiasm, a passion for working with children, and awareness of Health & Safety and EYFS are desired.
