About the role
Join Transport for London (TfL) as a Level 3 Transport Planning Apprentice and play a crucial role in shaping the future of London's transport. This three-year program offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in ensuring millions of daily journeys are safe, reliable, and sustainable. You'll engage with various disciplines involved in transport planning, contributing to vital projects that accommodate London's growing population. The apprenticeship includes at least five six-month placement rotations, designed to equip you with a diverse set of skills and experiences tailored to your strengths and career aspirations. Upon successful completion, you'll be eligible for various roles within TfL's planning departments and gain membership with the Chartered Institute of Highways and Transportation (CIHT), opening doors to further career advancement.
Entry requirements
- A minimum of 4 GCSE's Grade A* - C or Grade 4 and above including Maths and English Language or equivalents. Must be 16 years old by 7 September 2026.
