About the role
An opportunity for candidates with good numeracy skills and English as a second language to gain experience in accounting while studying. This apprenticeship offers a supportive pathway into the accounting profession, with duties including trial balance management, dealing with invoices, setting up and updating cash flow reports, processing payroll year-end, reconciling nominal ledgers, and handling bank postings. Upon completion, you will gain an AAT Level 2 Foundation Certificate qualification and a Level 2 NVQ in Accounting/Finance Apprenticeship. This role is ideal for those looking to start a career in finance and accounting, with potential for career progression to AAT Level 3 and full-time employment.
Entry requirements
- GCSE Maths and English (grades 5-9), good communication skills, IT skills, attention to detail, numeracy, analytical skills, logical thinking, teamwork, and patience.
