Apprentice Accountant Assistant

About the role

This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to join the finance department at THE TRAINING PLACE OF EXCELLENCE LIMITED as an Apprentice Accountant Assistant. You will gain hands-on experience in a range of essential accountancy duties. Key responsibilities include setting up and updating cash flow reports, managing and maintaining nominal codes and coding systems, updating and reconciling nominal ledgers, maintaining and updating sales and purchase ledgers, and handling bank postings and reconciliation. This role is ideal for individuals with strong GCSE Maths and English (grade 5-9), excellent communication, IT, and organisational skills, and a keen eye for detail. You will also need to demonstrate problem-solving abilities, teamwork, and initiative. Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, there is potential for full-time employment and progression to AAT Level 3.
