Apprentice Customer Consultant

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to start a career within financial services. You will learn all aspects of working within a busy Building Society Agency, delivering outstanding customer service whilst developing the skills required to become a fully competent Banking Consultant. Key responsibilities include welcoming customers professionally, completing cash transactions accurately, learning to balance and operate a cash till, opening savings accounts, assisting customers with online and telephone banking, promoting appropriate products and services, booking appointments for advisers, completing administration accurately, and following all compliance and security procedures. This role offers genuine opportunities in financial services, learning from an experienced team and potentially undertaking future qualifications. It will also provide the successful candidate with lots of transferable skills. Candidates must be 18 years or older due to the sensitive nature of the information handled.

Entry requirements

• GCSE English and Maths at C/4 or above. Communication skills, attention to detail, number skills, team working, honesty, reliability, and professional appearance are essential.
