About the role

This Pharmacy Assistant Apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to join K D KATARIA LTD in Swadlincote and embark on a career in healthcare. As an apprentice, you will support the daily operations of the pharmacy, assisting customers and the pharmacy team to ensure a safe and efficient service. You will undertake a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship, with comprehensive training and support provided. Key responsibilities include customer service at the medicines counter, assisting with prescription preparation, stock management, using pharmacy systems, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and confidentiality. The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in healthcare and working with people, possess strong communication and customer service skills, good attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. No prior pharmacy experience is necessary as full training will be given.
