About the role

Start your career in care with our Level 2 Adult Care Apprenticeship. Gain valuable hands-on experience supporting adults with their daily needs while earning, learning, and developing the skills needed for a rewarding career in health and social care. You will deliver safe, respectful, and person-centred care, assist with personal care, daily living activities, mobility, meals, and hydration, and provide medication support where trained. You will encourage independence, wellbeing, and participation in social activities, observe and report changes in health, maintain records, and follow care plans. You will also communicate effectively with service users, families, colleagues, and professionals, and complete apprenticeship training. This role requires good communication skills, attention to detail, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, teamwork, initiative, and patience. Upon successful completion, there is potential for a full-time role and progression to a Level 3 Lead Adult Care Worker Apprenticeship.

Entry requirements

• GCSE English and Maths at A*-C/9-4 or Level 2 equivalent.
