About the role

This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to become an Adult Care Worker with AJEB HEALTHCARE LTD in HARROGATE. You will gain a nationally recognised Level 2 qualification while providing essential care and support to individuals in their own homes. Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, meal preparation, medication prompts, safe moving and handling, and encouraging independence. The role requires strong communication, reliability, and a compassionate nature. Training is provided by the Heart of Yorkshire Education Group, with a blend of work-based learning and online sessions. Successful completion may lead to permanent employment and further career progression to Senior Care Worker and Level 3 qualifications.

Entry requirements

  • No qualifications or care experience are required. Must be 18 or over. Ability to read and write English. Full UK driving licence and access to a car with business insurance strongly preferred.
