About the role
Sherborne House Nursery is seeking a Nursery Apprentice to join their team. This role involves creating a warm, friendly, and stimulating environment for children's development. Responsibilities include providing all aspects of childcare under supervision, acting as a Key Person, observing and planning for children, assisting with personal and emotional needs, meeting deadlines for coursework, safeguarding children, and adhering to nursery policies and procedures. The apprenticeship offers a Level 2 qualification and functional skills training in maths and English, with training conducted through work-based visits and dedicated study time. Upon completion, there is potential for a full-time position and further training to Level 3.
