About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join an award-winning nursery group as an Early Years Level 2 Practitioner Apprentice. You will be immersed in the magic of children's play, learning and developing essential skills to become a qualified practitioner. The role involves creating engaging activities, supporting children's daily needs including mealtimes and sleep, and teaching through various play types both indoors and outdoors. You will also have opportunities to take children on outings to enhance their cultural experiences. All training is provided in-house with dedicated tutors, allowing you to earn as you learn without the need to attend college. This apprenticeship offers a clear career progression path, with the potential to progress to Level 3 and further into management roles within the early years sector.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English (Grade 4) and GCSE Maths (Grade 4). Essential skills include communication, IT, attention to detail, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, numerical skills, logic, teamwork, creativity, initiative, being non-judgemental, patience, and physical fitness.
