About the role
Become an Early Years Apprentice at Forbury Gardens Day Nursery and embark on a rewarding career supporting children under 5. This Level 2 apprenticeship offers hands-on experience in assisting with daily routines, engaging children in activities and play, and learning about child development and safeguarding. You will work alongside experienced staff, follow nursery policies, and attend regular training sessions. This role is ideal for individuals with excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills, who are patient, caring, and possess a genuine desire to work with young children. Upon completion, you can progress to advanced apprenticeships, team leading, management roles, or explore further education in teaching, nursing, or social work. The nursery provides a high-quality, professional childcare service for children aged 3 months to 5 years, operating Monday to Friday. This apprenticeship includes a Disclosure and Barring service (DBS) check. Training will be provided by Chiltern Training, located at One Valpy, 20 Valpy Street, RG1 1AR.
