About the role

Sticky Fingers Tiny School is seeking an Apprentice Early Years Educator. This role involves working effectively as part of a team, adhering to all policies and procedures including safeguarding and health and safety. The apprentice will provide a warm welcome to visitors and clients, promoting positive relationships. Key responsibilities include contributing to a safe and stimulating play environment that fosters children's self-esteem, confidence, and potential. This involves supporting children's development, contributing to displays, and providing creative activities. The apprentice will also assist with observations and log them onto the on-line learning journal (Tapestry). Maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness with a focus on child welfare is essential. The setting emphasizes outdoor activities, so comfort with this is required. Upon completion, there is a possibility of ongoing employment.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE or equivalent English: C or 4+ (Desired), GCSE or equivalent Maths: C or 4+ (Desired).
