About the role

Jackalberry Daycare is seeking a Level 3 Early Years Apprentice to join their team. As an apprentice, you will be a key member of the nursery, responsible for planning and implementing fun and educational activities for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. Your duties will include playing alongside children, supporting their creative development, maintaining development records, supervising mealtimes and rest times, promoting health and safety, and ensuring the play area is clean and tidy. You will also work closely with parents, providing feedback on their child's progress. The ideal candidate will be friendly, approachable, patient, caring, and able to interact positively with children and adults. Flexibility, reliability, trustworthiness, and the ability to work on your own initiative are also essential. This position is suited for a candidate with a bubbly personality committed to apprenticeship work.
