About the role
This is an opportunity to undertake a Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship at Chester-le-Street C of E Primary School. The role involves supporting pupils, teachers, and the curriculum, delivering learning activities, assessing and recording pupil progress, and maintaining a safe learning environment. You will work with individuals and groups of pupils, assist with their social and emotional development, and support their access to the curriculum. The apprenticeship also includes support for the school, such as adhering to safeguarding and health and safety policies, contributing to the school's ethos, and working collaboratively with colleagues. Upon successful completion, there is a possibility of further training and permanent employment.
