About the role

This Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship with OLLARDS LIMITED in Milton Keynes offers a fantastic opportunity to begin a career in childcare. The role involves ensuring the safety and well-being of children, assisting with daily activities, and supporting their learning and development. You will work closely with parents and carers, acting as a key person's assistant to a small group of children. Key responsibilities include implementing safeguarding procedures, maintaining a safe and stimulating environment, and contributing to the daily running of the nursery. The apprenticeship also includes attending safeguarding training and supporting mealtimes. Upon successful completion, there is potential for a full-time position as a nursery practitioner or room leader within Bletchley Montessori.

Entry requirements

  • Paediatric First Aid Qualification, Safeguarding qualification, strong communication, IT, attention to detail, organisation, customer care, problem solving, presentation, administrative, numerical, analytical, logical, teamwork, creative, initiative, and non-judgemental skills. Patience is also essential.
